Habakkuk Educational Materials
Welcome to Habakkuk Educational Materials, which offers a curriculum specially designed to help students learn more in less time. There are currently materials available for teaching reading, language, math, spelling, science, social studies, and Bible, and more are being added to the site monthly. Any materials available on this site have been designed by a certified educator.
Habakkuk Educational Materials provides everything you need to teach students how to read, and different approaches for teaching reading have been incorporated into the curriculum. Materials are available for teaching phonics, sight words, structural analysis, and more and can be used in accordance with the Habakkuk Educational Materials reading program or to supplement any other curriculum for teaching reading.
Habakkuk Educational Materials also offers easy-to-understand language arts materials to help students become better writers and to familiarize them with the parts of speech, figurative language, and various other terms like acronyms, antonyms, synonyms, and the often-confused words homonyms, homophones, homographs, and heteronyms.
For math, Habakkuk currently offers a complete, easy-to-understand curriculum for grades kindergarten through 5th and for middle and high school geometry students. In the near future, materials for teaching Pre-algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Trigonometry will also be made available. The curriculum is referred to as “70 Times 7 Math” and can be used by homeschooled students or to supplement any other school-based curriculum.
Science and social studies curriculum are also available for grades kindergarten through 3rd. The books provide yearly lessons full of ideas and fun activities to help children simultaneously learn about science or social studies, spelling words, phonics, and much more. For older children (those in grades 4th through 12th) there are materials to help them gain a thorough understanding of the United States government and of major historical events in American history. There are even free computer-based tests available to assess student understanding of the information covered in these books and of other materials available through this website.
