This resource provides various reproducible materials that use such center activities as matching games, bingo, and Go Fish to help students learn about money, time, and fractions. While math centers are the focus, ideas for using the matching cards and bingo mats for whole group participation have also been provided.
In the MONEY section, you will find four different matching games, the first for matching coins with their values, a second for matching coins with their names, a third for matching equivalent amounts, and the fourth for counting money. These money matching games are available in both color and black and white. In addition to the matching cards, there are six money bingo cards, as well as blank bingo grids and ideas for their use.
In the TIME section, six bingo cards and matching games are also available to help students match analog clocks with digital times. A second matching game in this section requires students to match clock faces set to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour with their corresponding written times.
As with money and time, there are six bingo cards and matching cards to help students identify FRACTIONS. Besides matching fractions to pictures, there is a matching game to help students match pictorial fractions with percents and cards with fractions to reduce during a relay game.
