If you play the video regularly, it won't be long before your students are able to identify all 50 states and their locations on a map!  The teacher (or a child) could point to each state in turn as students sing the song that names them.  Following the song, a child is asked to locate a state, such as Oklahoma, on the map.  You might also ask a student to identify a state where a given city, such as the state’s capital, is located and to identify the abbreviation of that state.
